Okay, stop rolling your eyes! Just because you've never heard of the Teacher Genie doesn't mean it doesn't exist. As a matter of fact, the Genie lives right here in our Teachers' Lounge, and it likes nothing better than to email teachers the message: "YOUR WISH IS GRANTED".

How does it work? Easy. First, you click on the magic lamp a couple of times, just for effect. (Nothing will happen, but it'll be fun.) Then you fill out the Official Teacher Genie Wish Form and submit it. Then you wait. Each quarter, one lucky teacher will receive the Genie's email message saying, "YOUR WISH IS GRANTED", along with instructions about how to claim their "Wish Grant". (The Real Kids, Real Adventures Teacher Wish Grants take place in August, November, February and May.)

Got it? Okay, then here are the...

1. You must be a teacher, librarian or other educator to be eligible for the wish-granting. (Homeschool instructors and private tutors are fine.)
2. Your wish must be somehow related to the teaching profession: i.e., a wish for specific supplies, books, classroom materials, a pizza party or anything else useful in an educational setting.
3. Each wish's cash value cannot exceed $50; you can, however, submit as many individual wishes as you-- er, wish!
4. You must complete all information on the Wish Form (including the name of your school or other educational facility) or the Teacher Genie won't read it.
