"Hi, my name's Lily, but everybody calls me Puppy. I came to live with the Morrises when I was about five months old. The little kids I lived with at the place where I was born always scared me, so when I first came to this house I tried to hide all the time. But nobody hurt me, and they fed me lots of puppy food. Now I wag my tail and smile all the time.

"I'm part German Shepherd, part dachshund (wiener dog), and part Labrador Retriever. I'm kind of fat and long, with short stumpy legs. When people first see me they always laugh. It's probably because I smile so big and wag my tail so hard.

"I'm Deb's dog, so I follow her everywhere. When she's writing I sit on her feet. I think she likes it."
