"Hi! I'm Big Girl, one of the Morris Family Hedgehogs. That's me on the
far left. The other little hoglets are my babies: Little Big Girl, Fat Foot,
Tubby and Whitey (left to right). Popeye, another son from this litter,
has already been adopted by another family. Eventually we'll find good
homes for all the babies except Fat Foot. He's becoming a permanent part of
the Morris family.
"My husband, Guy, isn't crazy about the babies, so we keep him in a separate tank while the babies are young. I don't know what's wrong with him; who could resist cute hoglets like these? Anyway, it's his loss. The kids and I have our own place: a huge 20-gallon aquarium with wall-to-wall pine shavings, a water bottle, a running wheel and other toys. We eat cat food (something the cat isn't happy about), and on warm days we run around outside. Most of our play-time is at night, though, since we're nocturnal. Fat Foot scratches at the aquarium glass every night until Steven takes him out and plays with him. Steven is his Special Human. I'm very proud of my little family."
