"Hi! I'm Bambi, Deb's pink-toed tarantula. My long name is Avicularia
avicularia, and I originally came from a forest in South America.
I can eat birds and small mice... only Deb won't let me. She just feeds me
crickets. She yells at me when she catches me looking at Chiquita and Turq,
the two noisy parakeets that share her office with me. Freckles, her old
parakeet, died a few mopnths ago, but I didn't do it. Really! He died of
old age.
"Anyway, I like climbing up walls and plants (and anything else) better than walking around on the floor. I have pretty pink feet, beautiful red fangs, and long hairy legs. I can live to be 25 or 35 years old, so I won't be dying of old age for years and years and years..."
